Online Niche Marketing And Your Bottom Line - Titus Hoskins

The Internet is tailor made for niche marketing. As more and more people turn to the web to find the information and products they need, opportunities for online marketers to cash in has never been greater. Buyers now look to the web to find countless products and services not available in their own local areas.

Niche marketing is a simple marketing technique you should be using with your online marketing. Targeting small sections of the vast online consumer marketplace is one of the fastest and surest ways to produce an online revenue stream. Are you taking full advantage of this marketing strategy with your own site or sites?

The web and niche marketing has opened up this whole new area in the worldwide marketplace; delicately balancing supply with demand, no matter how obscure or unique the product or service may be.

Niche marketing is catering to these small segments of the marketplace, from mountain climbing footwear to fly tying equipment to home entertainment systems. Narrowing down and targeting a specific market niche or group has proven to be a very effective online marketing strategy.

Internet marketers and webmasters who have searched out and optimized for these small niche markets are reaping the rewards. Those marketers who find the niche markets where there is high demand but very little competition are benefiting the most.

Finding these profitable niche markets is easier than most people believe, mainly because most of the activity on the web is keyword driven or powered. All a marketer has to do is find the keywords or phrases potential customers are using to search for the products they want to acquire.

Savvy online marketers use different keyword research software and online sites to find these profitable keywords. They use software like Nichebot or Keyword Elite and sites like WordTracker and Overture (Yahoo Marketing) to find profitable keywords in their respective niches.

Before any content is created, before any sites are made, before any products are born - these marketers do extensive keyword research to find out exactly what people are looking for on the web. How many searches are made each month and the keyword ratio or competition for their niche keywords.

The objective is to find little known niches where there is great demand but very little competition. Many marketers also use the 'Long Tail' - a whole long list of keywords or keywords phrases that relate to their niche. Creating webpages or content for this Long Tail has proven to be more profitable then targeting general popular keywords.

For example, someone searching for the keyword 'vacation' may just be shopping around or dreaming - whereas someone looking for 'honeymoon vacation Jamaica' may have their minds already made up and are ready to buy... finding a whole (Long Tail) list of keyword phrases where the customer is ready to buy will obviously prove more lucrative than a general list of keywords.

Many niche marketers also use this Long Tail keyword list in combination with targeted articles which they submit and syndicate around the web through such sites as Ezinearticles, GoArticles or IdeaMarketers. Thus, creating high search rankings for the profitable keywords in their particular niche.

Many smart marketers also tie in an informative 'How To' 'Further Information' or 'Special Deals' autoresponder series to keep in touch with their visitors. Knowing that many interested parties may not buy on their first visit, it has been shown that it takes around six or seven follow-ups before many consumers will buy.

For those webmasters who are not extensively into web marketing, joining a free affiliate program like the Amazon Associates program and creating an aStore is an effective way of promoting niche products on the topic of your site. Products can be hand-picked to perfectly fit the content of your site or niche.

Niche marketing is not a complicated process. Anyone can take advantage of these small marketing niches and exploit the demand for countless products and services that have no or little competition. There is no reason why you shouldn't turn the information highway into your own private source of income.

Your bottom line will be the first to thank you!

The Zen of Traffic - Michael Kay

If you are going to make money on the Web now is the time to accept the one overwhelming reality. Success goes to those who can generate traffic. Period. The END!

Everyone who comes to the web runs up against this reality eventually.

Everyone, without exception, gets scammed by someone or something offering a solution to this problem. I was scammed out of a lot of money twice in two weeks and nearly three times. I shared the common feeling that (a) there had to be a ‘secret' and (b) I had ‘better things to do' than generating traffic so I would ‘outsource' it.

I'm here to tell you, wiser and poorer; I was wrong, very, very wrong.

There are no ‘secrets' – though different tools have different effects. I knew that!! Regular advertising and traffic generation in the physical world tells anyone that. Billboards are not TV spots. Bulk direct mail is not magazine advertising. Each tool and technique has its own methods and different segments of the population are attracted by different techniques or by the happenstance of simply ‘seeing' the ad when a problem is on their mind.

Why I should have allowed myself to think the web world was different I have no idea. But, like countless thousands of others I did and got punished for it!

So, is there any hope? Any ‘secret'? No! Or rather perhaps – Yes. But it has nothing to do with any particular technique. I call it (only half in jest) the Zen of Traffic! And it is:

The Persistent Application of a Range of Tools

So, no pixie dust. No one riding to the rescue. No real way of buying your way out of the problem. But relax. Anyone can generate traffic. Anyone! All you have to do is:

• Learn the tools and their different applications

• Apply them *persistently*, which means *daily, forever* (you've read those sales pitches that talk about a couple of hours a day; this is what they are talking about!)

• Measure the results with great accuracy (for example, through split testing) and adjust the mix of tools based on experience.

That's it!

Why the Zen of Traffic! Because, of course, persistence is a personality trait; a behavior pattern that you either have or can be taught. And, like the practice of Zen teachings, the more you *do* and *meditate* on the results the greater mastery you will possess until eventually generating traffic becomes an ingrained skill. And like Zen philosophy, the only way of acquiring it is to DO it! Again, Period. The End!

So what are the tools the Traffic Masters use? There are seven basic categories.

• Search engine placement: It has been said that "If you're not on Google, you don't exist!" The hunt for that elusive Top 10 placement can be obsessive. The reward is an avalanche of traffic, but the competition is fierce. For most folks search engine traffic is slow to develop, readily lost and can be expensive in time and effort.

• Pay-per-Click: Direct, measurable, effective, pay-per-click is a fast way of getting traffic. But, it can be expensive and demands measurement of effectiveness

• Writing for Traffic: The web is an information vault. Focusing on content and providing people with structured and useful knowledge is a terrific way to generate long-term traffic. Additionally, articles carry your web address and so provide the back links the search engines love!

• Classic Advertising Tools: The web has the same array as the offline world – banners (equivalent of billboards), advertising through email, pop-under advertising, traffic exchanges, and classifieds in ezines, and such off-line activity as putting up posters and putting your web site on your business card. Each tool will yield something; typically a small dribble that added together across many tools can be a satisfactory stream.

• Affiliate Programs: If you have a digital product and you put it on Clickbank you can ‘hire' a sales force of over 100,000 entrepreneurs instantly.

• Joint Ventures: If you are an established player this is a powerful route. If you are a newbie, it's out of your league.

And, the last one

• Buying Leads: Lead companies gather leads with greater or lesser efficiency and sell them. The leads are cold, warm or even possibly hot. But, who knows? And you can be sure of one thing: the ‘hotter' they are the more expensive they are! I, initially, had no luck with leads. I bought them for a few cents each and at my peak of stupidity I paid $20 plus per lead. They were equally useless! Until I discovered co-registration through a newsletter – that works.

Building traffic is tough - which is good news or all your competition would do it. The cost is persistent effort (time) and no one approach will do it for you. Learn to use a range of tools, apply them, measure and meditate on the results and you may not be a *Zen Master*, but you can become a *Traffic Master* – then you can feed yourself for life – guaranteed.

The Different Types Of Affiliate Marketing - Gerald Choo

There are different types or classes of affiliate marketing, and the number of types will depend on how one classify them. However, the most basic affiliate marketing programs, falls under pay-per-performance (PPP).

• Pay Per Performance (PPP)

PPP affiliate marketing is the most popular among merchant and is also the most lucrative type for the affiliates. In this type of affiliate program, the merchant only pays the affiliate whenever his referral translates into an action - that is whenever the visitor he has referred actually purchase something from the merchant's site or when the visitor becomes a lead. This means a lot of savings for the merchant as compared to paid advertising. On the other hand, it becomes the most lucrative type for the dedicated affiliate, for the commissions offered by the merchant in PPP affiliate marketing usually comes in the range of 20% to 75% of the actual product sales.

Pay-per-performance affiliate marketing can be further classified into two popular types: pay-per-sales (PPS) and pay-per-lead (PPL).

o Pay Per Sale (PPS)

In a pay-per-sale type of affiliate marketing, the merchants pay the affiliate a certain fee whenever the visitor he has referred to the merchant's site actually buys something from the merchant's site. Affiliates are often paid on commission basis, although other merchants would opt to pay a fixed fee. But no matter what the basis of the fee is, it is almost always a higher percentage commission and a higher fixed fee that would motivate and attract more affiliate to work harder for the merchant. This is a win-win situation, the affiliate earns more while the merchant gets more sales for doing nothing.

o Pay Per Lead (PPL)

The PPL type of affiliate marketing is a slight variation of the PPS type and is often used by companies who rely on leads for their company to grow. In this type of affiliate marketing, the affiliate is paid whenever the visitor he referred to the merchant's site fills up an application form or any similar form related to the business of the company. Compensation for this type of affiliate marketing is based on a fixed fee whose rates approximate that of the fixed fee in the PPS type.

Aside from these two main types of affiliate marketing, a lot of other affiliate marketing types exist. If the classification is based on the depth of the affiliate network, it can be classified as single-tier, two-tier, and multi-tier affiliate marketing. There is residual income affiliate marketing that pays the affiliate each time the same customer he has referred purchases the same product again or some other product from the merchant's site.

• Single-Tier, Two-Tier, and Multi-Tier Affiliate Marketing

These types of affiliate marketing are based on the different levels or tiers in the affiliate network by which payments are made. These structures offer more incentive and further motivate the affiliates to work harder and very quickly build a fleet of affliates under the merchant.

In a single-tier affiliate marketing program, the affiliates are only paid based on the direct sales or traffic he has referred to the merchant. PPS and PPL affiliate marketing types) fall under the single-tier classification.

In two-tier affiliate marketing programs, the affiliate is not only paid for the direct lead or sales that he refers to the merchant's site, but also on every lead or sales referred by various other affiliates who joined the affiliate program through his recommendation.

Multi-tier affiliate marketing works the same way, that the affiliate gets additional commission for a wider number of affiliates in different tiers in the affiliate network.

• Residual Income Affiliate Marketing

In residual income affiliate marketing, the affiliate gets paid not only once for the customer he has referred to the merchant's site. Rather, the affiliate is also paid whenever the customer he has referred returns to the site and purchase the same product or another product. Compensation for such type of affiliate marketing is based on either sales percentage commission or fixed fee basis.

The different affiliate marketing types would virtually work differently for merchants and affiliates alike, and each would generally have their own list of benefits. Which type of affiliate marketing will work best for a merchant? Rather, it is to choose which type of affiliate marketing program will suit the merchant's needs and characteristics best.

5 Terrific Traffic Ideas That Don’t Include SEO, JV’s and PPC - Rasheed Ali

Traffic. It's the all-important piece of the marketing puzzle that faces all web owners. Your product may cure cancer but unless there are people reading your information it won't matter. And not just any traffic. You want laser targeted, highly motivated customers ready to whip out their wallets and input their credit cards. You are searching for El Dorado. You know it's there. You've read that others have found it. There is a path and it starts here.

SEO, JV's and PPC traffic will all deliver targeted customers. These techniques require specific knowledge too lengthy to discuss in one sitting. Below are five diverse methods that you start to use to drive targeted customers to your site with the knowledge you gain here.

1. Join the world and start blogging! Blogging is an online weblog or diary that can be easily updated. Your readers can even leave comments or answer polls. Blogger.com, a large server based blog, is owned by Google. Although there are great advantages to posting to a Blogger site you always want to have a blog hosted on your own site. Blogger will take down sites and sometimes for no apparent reason. You can lose all your data and traffic in seconds. Use Blogger to point to your primary site. This gives your site one more back link, another source for traffic and a reason for Google to spider and index your primary site following the links from Blogger. You can post the same content on both blogs and redirect people to pick up an RSS feed from your primary blog.

2. There are people talking about your niche on any number of forums and groups. Join several and provide accurate content rich answers to their questions. Be seen as a helper, someone who is truly interested in the topic and the people. Do not spam. Do not advertise but place your site in your signature line. You'll be pleasantly surprised at the number of good customers you'll receive. If people are motivated enough to join a forum or group to discuss their issue then they most likely are motivated to find good information.

3. Article marketing has been a topic of conversation for several years now. People seem to attempt this particular avenue and get discouraged easily. Although this type of marketing will economically generate targeted customers it is a time consuming job. The best technique to use is to post at least three to four articles per week to two or three of the top article directories. It's not necessary to post to 300 directories, just the ones with high page ranks like ezinearticles.com. These article postings do three things. You have back links from a site with a high page rank; you have access to publishers and your content will be found on organic searches based on the keywords and phrases you enter when you post to the directory.

4. Viral marketing has a mystique about it. The first site that accidentally took real advantage of this method was Interview With God. The owner of the site published a public domain poem on the net just a couple of months before 9/11. His site was ‘discovered' by many people who took solace from the poetry and began sending the site to all of their friends. The rest was history. The essence of viral marketing is sharing information with people you know. There are several avenues open to you and even more if you use your imagination. You can take advantage of social networking sites and social bookmarking sites where you can share your information with all of your new ‘friends'. Tell a friend scripts on your site can encourage your current visitors to tell their friends. You'll find that people will tell their friends if your site is funny, touching or if you offer incentive. Another technique is to offer free information through ebooks with links back to your site.

5. Do you have expert knowledge on a particular subject that relates to your website and business? You not only can share that knowledge in groups and forums but also by using answer sites through Yahoo Answers or eHow.com. In these arenas people post questions and others post answers. People who read the answers rate them. Your site gets traffic when people perceive that you are giving high quality answers.

You have the knowledge to drive traffic to your site. This may not be the flood of traffic that dreams are made of but they are targeted customers, the most important kind of traffic. As your skill using these techniques improves so will the number of buying customers visiting your site. And isn't that the point?

Find the Right Products to Sell on the Internet! - Stephen Beck

One of the most common questions I am asked is "What do I sell on the internet?"

Well, the answer depends a lot on your personality and HOW you want to sell. In other words, the first question should not be "what sells well on the internet", but "what method of selling am I most comfortable with?"

There are essentially three ways to sell products on the internet. Let’s look at each method and the see the advantages and disadvantages of each.

First Method: Buy Wholesale and Sell Retail

This method is as old as human history. Find a product your niche wants, locate a wholesale source for that product, set up your online home business, advertise the product on your web site and ship the product to your customer.

Advantages:

1. You maintain complete control over the sales and delivery process.

You decide how much to mark up the wholesale price, not someone else. You also have control over when the item is shipped to your customer, not someone else halfway across the country!

2. You can shop around for the best wholesale price.

3. You can recommend your other products when someone purchases your product.

Disadvantages:

1. You will end up shipping packages everyday.

2. You will have to pay upfront for inventory and have a place to store it in your home.

3. Since others will be selling the same thing you are, you must be able to out-market your competition.

Second Method: Recommend Products for a Commission

This is also called affiliate marketing. You recommend someone else’s product using a special hyper-link called an affiliate link. When your visitor clicks on that link, the visitor is taken to the other person’s product page, but a cookie tracks the link to you. If a sale results, you get a commission. There is a lot of affiliate marketing information online.

Commissions can range from 5% of an order for camping gear to 50% of an information product priced at $1500! Affiliate marketing works for physical products, services, ebooks and anything else under the sun.

The key is finding product owners that see the value in sharing a percentage of the sale with those willing to be volunteer sales people for their product. Product owners that see the value of residual income with an online business.

Advantages:

1. You do not have to ship the product - the owner of the product takes care of that. In fact, the owner of the product creates the sales page, collects the money, ships the product and handles the questions and refunds.

2. You do not have to keep the product in inventory

3. Some commissions can be VERY generous.

Disadvantages:

1. If the product owner has an affiliate program, other people will be selling the exact same product. You must out-market other people and even the owner to make significant sales. You can not merely put up a link and forget about it if you want to make sales!

2. You have no control over the price of the product, the effectiveness of the sales page or the delivery of the product.

3. Although most product owners are honest and want to keep their affiliates happy, you have no leverage when it comes to getting paid. You do not control the money.

Third Method: Create your own product.

This is my favorite way to make money every day online! Once you learn to start an online business, creating your own products is a great way to follow your passion AND sell products that no one else is selling!

Advantages:

1. You have complete control over the sales and delivery process. You determine the price for your own product and you can even cut out the delivery costs be creating a downloadable product.

2. You will gain a huge sense of satisfaction, not to mention instant expert status!

3. You can find a need and then meet it. Creating your own product allows you to be very flexible and meet a targeted need in a very specialized niche.

4. There is no competition for your particular product. You are the ONLY ONE selling your products, unless you allow others to sell it for you, but you have complete control.

Disadvantages:

1. You can waste a lot of time and money if you have not researched your niche properly.

2. You must find a daily source of new customers.

3. You must find others to help promote your product.

So there you have it - the three basic methods of selling products on the internet. Hopefully, you can look at the advantages and disadvantages of each and determine which method is right for you. But don’t stop with just one. Incorporate all three methods into your online business and you will have a strong, diverse business that whether any economic storm!

How You Can Easily Get Started With Video Online - Jeff Davis

Videoblogging is the future of posting ideas and products over the internet. Everybody knows about textblogging. Now they use videos for a better way to get the sales message accross.

This form of communication may entail a lot of resources, but it is all worth it. If a picture says a thousand words, videoblogging blows that right out of the water.

A videoblog requires larger disk spaces on websites, a faster server, and a whole new set of programs to support it.

Videoblogs can be fed through RSS. This is technology of syndicating your website to other RSS aggregators.

Videoblogging allows people on the internet to express themselves. Now if you put this on a business prospective, you are scoring a lot of benefits.

Think of it as a powerful tool in showing your prospective customers your line of products, or your services. It’s just like showing a commercial all for free. And if you videoblog through RSS, then most probably you are getting to your target market way more effienciently.

People like to watch viedos of what they are going to buy. Some would like to see proof to be sure that they are getting their money’s worth before parting with thier hard earned cash. All of us know the influence of a thirty second commercial.

The effect of videoblogging is similar to that. You show your product, people watch it. If they like it, they buy it. If you present it well enough, they’ll buy the product even if they don’t need it.

Now on the web, webpages are pretty much static, unlike in television in which all are moving. If you post something that is moving, it would most likely catch attention. Now imagine your product parading in all it’s royalty through a videoblog. You’ll get phone call orders in no time at all.

If your business is just starting up, you can create a videoblog right at your own home.

All you need is,

*your web camera,

*microphone,

*video software,

*and lights.

IF you know how to use your camera, then you can create a videoblog.

Invest in a good web camera. The higher its resolution is the better the performance. And you like to present your goods in the best light so get the best one possible.

Make a short script, or just capture your goods on the fly. Just make sure you are getting the best shot for each. Get those creativity juices flowing, and be imaginative.

Lights are important in a production. Make sure you illuminate the area you are going to use to create your videoblog. The brighter the area, the better the images will be. You can also use lighting effects for added appeal to the presentation, but don't overdo it with the special effects.

Sounds are as important as videos on a videoblog. It is advisable to make your sound effects as enticing as the video.Should you require sounds for your videoblog, you need a microphone. Record you voice as a voice over for promoting the product and the benefits to consumers.

Your video editing software can be one of many programs. You need this to finalize your work. You can add sounds, delete some bad angles, or insert some still pictures in there too. Some programs are user- friendly and can be used even with zero knowledge on video editing.

Even simple video editing programs should do the trick.

Select your background carefully too.

The light affects the presentation so make sure that the background and the light complements each other.

Videoblogging is a great tool but it also has it cons.

It may slow down the computer so some people may steer clear of it. Download time may also be time consuming especially if your customer is still on a dial-up connection.

But don’t let that stop you. Let videoblogging be an alternative for you, though it is best to still keep the text and pictures present in your presentation to accommodate all possible viewers of your site.

In this new age, the more creative you are in presenting your product to the market, they more you are likely to succeed.

Videoblogging offers an interactive way of selling. You involve the customers. You instill in them the benefits of owning your products.

Attention: Home Business Owner--Are You A Time Waster? - Jesse Boland

It's a sad fact that the average home business owner never earns a profit in their business. It has become clear to me as I meet more and more new business owners why it is that the vast majority of them are struggling to earn money with their businesses. They waste their time on the unimportant stuff and neglect the key activities that will begin to make them money in the home based business industry.

Given the lack of training provided by some companies, and given that the blind often end up leading the blind in business, I though it would be helpful to lay down some basic necessities for the new business owner to use as a blueprint to success in their home business:

1. Find a mentor or create what Napoleon Hill calls in "Think and Grow Rich," a mastermind group. A group of people who meet regularly to game plan and work out answers to problems that they or the other members are having. This group can be in person or via an online conference room. These types of people will guide you with their own successes and difficulties the have faced in business and provide you with a reality check about the level of desire, commitment, and dedication you must have to build a successful business from home.

2. Stay away time wasters. I mean ALL time wasters. If you often find yourself searching link exchanges for the newest way to "Get Rich Quick," or "Earn Money in 15 Minutes" you need to reexamine your level of dedication to the business you are trying to build. If I can impart only one pearl of wisdom to you it is this: there is NO "super simple" road to wealth. All wealth creation takes time, but some methods are just simpler or more effective than others. Set up a daily schedule and stick to it, you'll be amazed by how much more productive you will become when you follow a checklist.

3. Make "Work Time" actual Work Time. Just because you are sitting at your desk doesn't mean you are working. Wasting time may be fine when you're someone's employee, but when you are your own boss ask yourself whether you'd be happy with your own level of activity and productivity. Work time is not chat with your significant other time, call your mom time, shop on the Internet time, chat online time, or pay the electricity bill time. Work time should be scheduled in stone and given the respect it deserves. I promise, the amount of work you do in the beginning will make or break your business.

4. Just because you are on the phone with a prospect doesn't mean that they are the type of person you want to do business with. Sometimes it's hard to do it, but there are time when YOU should reject a prospect--they're just too much headache. These prospects are the feet dragging, penny-pinching, malcontents that complain about your program before you explain it to them, seem to get irritated by the minute details of what you are saying, and then ask "How long before I start making $50,000 a month?" These are not the type of people you want to work with, and in the end you will be much happier when you don't have to waste time with someone who wants you to drag them toward success. You'll make more money without them in your organization.

5. If you find something that works, stick with it. Too often I find new business owners that want to "reinvent the wheel," as the old cliché says. They go into business with someone who has achieved a high level of success, but won't follow directions when given advice that will earn them income if carried out. It's ridiculous how many people will not follow simple directions. The people who make it the biggest in the home based business industry are those who follow directions the best. And on the flipside: never take advice from someone who is more screwed up than you. It's amazing how many people will chime in with their two cents on how you should build your business or why it's never going to work, or why it's a scam. Let them have their day jobs and their opinions, I'm just happy not to have to make that commute to work anymore.

Regardless of what opportunity you are in, wasting time is truly the scourge of virtually every new and struggling business owner. The fasted route to success is by following in the footsteps of those who have achieved a level of success that you want to achieve, and are willing to instruct you on their methods for building a home based business. All you must do is clean out your ears, be willing to follow directions, ask someone for the answers to the hard questions. But most of all you must respect your time, and respect your teacher's time as if it were your own. When people begin seeking you out for answers you will begin to truly see why your time is so valuable.

Get Started, Make Money! It’s Easier Than You Think… - Michael Kay

It's always easier to improve something than to imagine and create it from scratch. There's something about actually seeing it, complete, that affects the human mind, releases tension, and stimulates ideas for improvement.

We've all experienced it.

The cook who invents a new cake and instantly has everyone telling her how it could be better … if she only did this! The engineer who designs and builds a new bridge and has a hundred imitators (all with their own variants) within weeks.

In the world of regular business, this is the role of prototypes. To *show* everyone what can be. In the world of Japanese manufacturing, the concept of *kaizen* (that drove them to world manufacturing dominance) depends on the same phenomenon – invent a process then continually improve it.

If this is embedded in the human character why go against the flow? Yet, newbies to the web do it all the time! They either try to learn all the skills first (taking months and months to come to any income) or they hand over the bulk of the profits to some guy with a pre-packaged opportunity that promises to take away the pain – usually of technology.

Well, it may not suit everyone, but there is a third way.

Pre-packaged AdSense sites

AdSense is the Google advertising program that places those tiny, clickable advertisements on sites all over the web. AdSense is really the other side of the coin from AdWords. AdWords are the ads that appear in the top right of Google sales pages. Well, in AdSense the ads are placed on private sites and Google splits the proceeds with the owner.

AdSense is a well-established way to make a steady – mostly passive – income on the web. The idea is simple: you set up a site, stuff it with content (usually articles), optimize every page to its keywords, introduce it to the search engines and other drivers of traffic and then sit back and collect the checks!

There's a whole crowd of industrious e-book writers churning out instructions on how to do this. The most famous is John Reese, an internet guru's guru, who named these sites ‘virtual real estate'. Snappy!

The problem with VRE's is that the concept became too popular and Google became ticked off with the degradation of its search results from constantly repeated content. They have tried to strangle the concept, but that is frankly impossible. VRE sites are all about content and so is Google! Indeed, the bulk of Google's profits come from this source.

But, enough background. From the newbie point of view, pre-packaged AdSense Sites are a huge learning opportunity. The idea is simple.

You find a package. And install it. For an example of a site in its more or less raw form go to http://www.thememopad.com/adsense . You now publish the site – or a whole slew of them either under different domain names or in sub-directories of one domain. Your web host will tell you how to do that.

You now have a site with income potential and you start classic traffic building. So far, so typical…

But, you don't have to leave it there.

So far we have used some simple techniques – taking a bunch of web pages, uploading them, introducing them to the web site etc. But there are endless things you can do that may leave your site looking totally different in a short time - though it will never stop potentially earning money.

You are using the site as a prototype. Improve the graphics. Add your own content (Google will love you!). Change the layout. Add other providers – for example Yahoo! Publisher Network. Add Affiliate Links. Add all kinds of stuff.

As you play, you learn! In the teaching trade it is called "experiential learning" or "learning by doing", and it's the way the vast bulk of us learn – particularly adults.

The risk associated with this is small. You need a domain, a host, a package, and some web site creation software. Total cost a few hundred dollars, if you buy it all yourself.

But you get a huge amount for it.

A potential money-maker, a search engine optimized site, a learning opportunity and something else… a sense of accomplishment. Remember, the toughest thing in web home business is the loneliness. When you start from scratch you condemn yourself to months of lonely learning and frustration. Learning by doing - when the site is always potentially earning, and eternally *complete* - takes away a huge amount of the pressure and frustration.

AdSense pre-packaged sites make almost perfect learning tools. Try it, there's really nothing to lose and everything to gain!

Somatic Coaching - Rhonda Hess

One of the reasons coaching is so effective is that it supports the client to be guided by their own wisdom. An often overlooked source of wisdom is the sensations in the client's body. Somatic coaching is about noticing and utilizing this source of wisdom.

Bodies Don't Lie

Amazing repositories of memory and keen response, our bodies are always trying to tell us something, if only we will listen. After years of ignoring the messages, many of us experience this the hard way in the wake up call of illness. We can start now to tap into the every day messages. Somatic coaching is a valuable tool you can bring out with clients when the occasion is right.

A Different Kind of Feelings

When a client expresses a desire to make a change in thought or behavior, and strong feelings are causing resistance, help them to shift away from analytical thought and emotional feelings to body awareness. Here's an 8-step process:

1. Start by telling your client you'd like to try an experiment that involves tapping into body wisdom. Ask their permission to proceed.

Would you be willing to try an experiment right now that uses your body wisdom?

2. Then, ask them to describe the old behavior or thought.

How would you describe in one sentence the old behavior/thought?

3. Ask them to articulate how they'd like to think and behave from now on.

Well said. Now, how would you describe the new behavior/thought you want to have now?

4. Ask them to recall one recent and specific circumstance where they have had the habitual thought/behavior. (Usually, they've just described this to you in session which brought this exercise to mind for you.)

Think again about the circumstances you told me about earlier today. Do you have it fully in mind again?

5. Then, ask them to tune into their body as they recall the situation. Have them report any felt feelings in their body. Ask brief probing questions to encourage a thorough description of sensations such as temperature, tension, contraction and the specific locations in their body where they feel them. (You might hear something like "a tight, cold, contracted feeling in my solar plexus.")

Now with that situation in mind, tell me what you notice right now in your body -- what are the exact sensations? Where do you feel them? Is there anything else you notice?

6. Ask them to describe their posture.

As you notice these feelings, describe your posture -- how is your body holding these felt feelings?

7. Ask them to describe what their body wants to do to relieve that feeling.

What would your body like to do right now to relieve or release this?

8. Encourage them to allow their body to respond. As they make the physical transformation, ask them to call to mind the new thoughts/behaviors they want now. Have them take a few deep breaths.

When you're ready, go ahead and let your body do what you've just described. As you let your body do that, imagine yourself having the new thoughts/behaviors you want. Take a few deep breaths. How do you feel now?

A Few Cautions:

- If your client has little body awareness this exercise might be a hard sell or produce more subtle results. Let go of attachment if it doesn't seem to work well. Know when to let it go. Be sure you do not make the client wrong in any way.

- Keep the pace of your language slow and speak succinctly during this exercise. The focus is non-verbal.

- Check your own breathing and posture.

- Echo the client's words back to them. Classic descriptions of felt feelings attached to unwanted thoughts are things like: "contracting in my belly" or "my shoulders are rounded in around my heart". Those are tender and personal expressions that deserve reverance even if you've heard them before.

- It's very important that you support the client to see the contrast between habitual body feelings attached to habitual thoughts and new desirable & released body feelings attached to new thoughts. They are usually opposites like contracted/expanded, cool/warm, closed/open, bent/straight, stuck/flowing, etc.).

- Do not overuse this exercise. Bring this tool out now and then when you have an intuitive hit that it fits the client and circumstances. Always ask permission.

- Do not use this as trauma therapy! Bodies hold powerful information, much of which is not coaching territory. Keep the use of this exercise to current thoughts/behaviors to transform and not to unlock historical core issues. When in doubt, don't use it.

This process can be incredibly transformational in the moment, and if further exercised by the client, out of session, it can be a powerful manifestor of new, more integrated ways of being.

The astounding thing about somatic coaching is that you can do it on the telephone. This is because you are relying solely on the client's own ability to tune into their own body and report feelings. No analysis is required!

Website Success = Content! Content! Content! - Francois du Toit

We have all heard the real estate slogan: “Location! Location! Location!”. Well, if that is the slogan of the real estate industry then “Content! Content! Content!” is certainly the slogan for all webmasters. Maybe I should rather say it SHOULD BE the slogan for all webmasters…Unfortunately many webmasters are only focusing on how they can make more money instead of providing visitors to their website with good content.

I recently heard that more than 40% of all people with an internet business have only been online for no longer than 6 months. I am not sure about the exact percentage but I can believe that 40%+ is not far away from the truth.

One thing is for sure: Many people start an internet business believing they are going to make a fortune online within a very short period of time. The reality is that very few people actually achieve any sort of online success, especially in the first six months. The result is a constant stream of new webmasters and a constant outflow of disillusioned webmasters.

Most newcomers are totally disillusioned with the internet after only a couple of weeks or months. They often fall prey to unscrupulous dealers that sell them expensive programs “guaranteed” to make them succeed on the internet. Most of these programs do not work and they leave with the bitter taste in their mouths of being conned.

Do the statistics prove that one should not attempt to make money online or that the internet is a big hoax? No, they prove that people give us too soon. They prove that people have unrealistic expectations. They prove that people do not acquire enough knowledge before embarking on an online business.

What are the most common mistakes?

1. No clear strategy. Newcomers often have no clear idea of what they want to achieve and how they should go about achieving it. They try to go of in all directions at once or use the shotgun approach of firing away at everything that moves hoping they will eventually hit something.

2. Unrealistic expectations. People often spend $25,000+ pa. on college fees for three years just to earn $40,000 pa. when they graduate. However, when it comes to making money online they refuse to invest the time to learn how to succeed and expect to make $10,000 from the very first month working only a couple of hours per day.

3. People are often chasing money without taking the time to put the necessary structures in place that will enable them to earn money.

Assume you want to open your own restaurant. Do you try to make money without a location or any food to offer your customers? No! You start by drawing up a business plan - What are you planning on doing, how & when are you going to start, who are your competitors, how long will it take before you start making money, how much money do you need to invest, what does your cash flow look like, etc.

Many people still think they can build a quick one page website or get a free affiliate website and that they will have a constant stream of visitors eager to snap up anything they have to offer. Nothing can be further away from the truth.

Think about it logically. Put yourself in the shoes of a visitor. Most people search the internet looking for information (content). The search engines know this and reward unique content websites by indexing them more favorably than poorly constructed websites, websites with very little content or duplicate websites. There are millions of websites on the net. I am sorry, but if a visitor runs a search for a keyword such as “business opportunity” and your site is number 99,000,000 of 100,000,000 then you are never going to get any visitors. Accept it.

What can you do? The first and most important step you can take is to ensure that your website has good content. Write about something you know and are passionate about. If you struggle to write one page about a certain topic then rather forget about it. You should be able to write many pages of relevant content that other people would like to read. Try to remain original and focus on unique content.

There are many things you can do to improve your website in the future by making it more attractive to your visitors as well as the search engines. However, there is really nothing you can do to improve a website with poor content until you do something to improve the content.

Whatever website you want to establish, remember the golden rule: Content! Content! Content!

To your success!

Do You Make These Mistakes With Adsense? - Karl Stadler

Don't you think it is fascinating that with so many Adsense publishers, all setting up hundreds of sites, they have absolutely no idea who their clients are? The first rule of setting up and maintaining a successful business is thorough knowledge of your client.

Let's flip the coin and look at it from another angle. Google does not pay you for clicks on your site; the Adwords advertiser is forking out the money for your checks. The reason why he advertises is to sell a product or service or to drive people to his site for a subscription or whatever reason. He is doing it to gain a business advantage.

The question here is: Are you giving him an advantage or are you just costing him money?

You have heard "˜Adsense is dead' or "˜there is not so much money to be made from Adsense as in the past'. Most Adsense publishers think they have to set up a few more sites which will make up for the lost income. Dead wrong.

The reason for the downward spiral in Adsense income originates from untargeted ads on web pages. Most people would love to place the blame at the doorstep of Google, but this is not the case. The problem lies with the publishing of thousands of websites solely intended to get clicks, thus optimized for the search engine and not giving a second thought to the advertiser from Adwords.

The result from the misuse of Adsense is obvious. In most of the current Adwords information products one of the first warnings you are given when placing adwords ads is to remove the link to advertise on the content network. The reason is simple; the ads appear on untargeted pages leading to untargeted customers. This is a waste of the advertiser's money and a direct loss of income for the Adsense publisher. All the serious Adwords advertisers are not advertising on the content network, which in turn leads to less competition. The cost per click on a content page is far less that the cost on a generic page search.

Adwords and Adsense will never die and is and will remain one of the top income earners for many internet marketers.

So what now? The answer lies in improved sites with quality content. Play with the search engine not against it. If you want to compete with a search engine start your own. Not impossible, Google did it and succeeded.

So what exactly is improved content?

The keywords you are optimizing for should relate to your web content and add value for the visitor. This does not mean you have to write one thousand word pages all on your own. One to two hundred words per page will be fine as long as it answers the question or part of the question that the visitor was searching for with the search term. From there on the page can lead to Adsense ads and a click on the link will be a targeted visitor for the advertiser.

You also do not need to write each page yourself, you can still use PLR content and articles for your sites just make sure that the main question that the visitor would have when searching for that term is answered and lead them further to more specific information through Adsense ads.

Can you imagine the joy on your face when receiving a five figure check from Adsense, and think of the joy you would place on the face of the Adwords advertiser also receiving a five figure payday?

Once you have your site set up correctly there are a few elements that you need to give attention to. The truth about Adsense placement is that there is a trick to it. For high CTR your ad placement must be highly optimized.

I have seen this myself in testing different Adsense placement methods. One placement for all does not work. On certain pages it would be higher up and on others it would be lower down.

It is all dependent on the content of the page and the question you should ask yourself is at which point in the content is the visitor the most likely to want more specific information. If you write your content yourself you should write it in such a way that you give information and then raise curiosity, and it is at that point where your ad should appear for the first time. By utilizing this method and keeping your content targeted you will receive many clicks and your Adwords advertiser will receive the targeted visitors he wants.

Are you beginning to see how important it is to get the content and your ads right Now, let me ask you this: Are you one of the Adsense publishers who are costing advertiser's money or are you one that actually help make advertisers money?

Bartering Online - Madison Lockwood

Online bartering has been going on for at least ten years. High profile websites that feature the service have been online for at least five years; a little surfing reveals that they are going through a process of consolidation and realignment.

There are a couple of models for online barter. A few sites charge substantial fees for member merchants to join and advertise. Their membership figures number in the tens of thousands. There are also sites that provide free access to people and merchants who wish to barter. Each site has a method of establishing value for the members’ goods or services, and each member has an account with the service based on what has been sold or bought. The host site takes a piece of each transaction, generally five to eight percent.

www.ctebarter.com is now known as international monetary exchange. Membership costs $595.00 and the fee structure is 7.5% buy or sell commission. In addition there is a $12.00 monthly fee. The site claims 15,000 members and advertises that base as an extension of your business advertising and account sources, should you join.

www.internetbarterexchange.net was established by a web hosting company ostensibly to assist its clients in expanding their business transactions. The host company, config.com claims to advertise the bartering service – and member clients - through the purchase of keywords on Google and Yahoo. For clients who do not use the config.com web hosting service there is a $199.00 membership fee, a $14.95 monthly maintenance fee and a 5% buy or sell commission.

The service available at www.trashbank.com is a general trading site with no evidence of fee structures at all. They are heavily engaged in selling advertising. www.u-exchange.com is also a fee-free site that has international aspirations, providing a search tool by country. Their financial model is also adverting-based.

At www.travelforbarter.com you will find the World Barter Banc which seems to have started as a travel barter service and has now expanded into the general marketplace. They claim 41,000 merchant members and have a specific and detailed index of product categories – eBooks, cosmetic surgery, costume jewelry, etc. The page has featured products which presumably cost the merchant for prominent placement, as well as a product search feature. www.barterbucks.com is a site with a different look and a “founder” who came to the barter business through participating with her own online company. However it has the same product index and is clearly the same operator.

www.frugalreader.com is a book exchange that works on non-monetary credits – one for a paperback, two for a hardbound book. The service is free, but provides a premium level for a monthly fee that gives members the first shot at new listings, the ability to limit listings, and so forth. www.bookins.com provides a similar service, with a more sophisticated point system and a centralized shipping system which presumably provides the site with a source of revenue.

www.bigvine.com is a well organized directory of barter sites. You can choose from general barter, B2B, travel, and a number of straight commercial options such as services that provide apartment listings and, in fact, vine vendors. Bigvine is a lead generation site, not a barter site.

www.barteritonline.com is a general bartering service with no membership fee. Their home page divides your search options into B2B, media buying (read ad-swapping on the Internet), travel, human resources, office equipment, real estate and more. This service has gone for wide distribution as opposed to a paying membership base; it is a pass-through service that advises its members to nail down shipping costs before closing a deal.

Double Your Income: Take A Chance With Internet Affiliate Programs - Mario Churchill

If you want to produce a profitable web site, then affiliate programs are the most ideal approach.

Certain affiliates of companies or corporations out there are looking for help regarding their marketing. The affiliates’ money is weighed greatly on the commissions taken from the players registrations, and most often these affiliates do not know how to carry this alone. Thus, they needed an instructor to get the proper methods in affiliate programs.

This instructor is the internet itself. The affiliates when studying the procedure simply visit the web sites and search on the programs concerning affiliate marketing. These web sites along with the programs are presenting the various schemes of marketing that the affiliates can apply to boost their possible lower commissions.

These affiliates are expected to widen more their knowledge regarding marketing if they will search further to the web sites and to the affiliate marketing programs.

For instance, the use of banner is the largest element of affiliate marketing programs. And then, the web sites and the affiliate marketing programs will detail everything to the affiliates.

The affiliates can utilize a banner on the other web sites to employ traffic to the site of their mother company where they are employed as an affiliate. This is the main thing that is being covered by the affiliate marketing programs and sites.

These web sites and programs are stressing the use of banners because it performs a vital function in employing traffic on the sites endorsed by the affiliates.

The assistance of banners in employing traffic is very effective, though this is not the sole scheme to augment the affiliates’ commissions, the web sites and programs cannot deny the fact of the success it brings compared to the others.

These affiliates are always searching for the possible ways to boost up their earnings and turn it into bulk profit, so as to increase their commissions as affiliates. Likewise, they are also finding for ways to learn the strategies in marketing their works as affiliates.

Hence, when these needs occur, they immediately search for the offers in the internet that could help them. This occurrence directly means a profit for the websites and affiliate marketing programs owners.

These affiliate marketing program web sites are utilized by the affiliates on their own advantages as they look for guidance in boosting up their incomes.

Since there are numerous ways to boost the affiliates profits, ways that are not entirely familiar for the affiliates, these web sites have been designed to increase their knowledge on it and help them to understand it deeply, and through these knowledge they were able to generate more money.

Basically, these programs and web sites instruct the affiliates on various things that are concerned in increasing of their profits. And through this, it isn’t impossible for them to accumulate commissions as gambling affiliates.

These web sites and programs have been a great help in boosting up the affiliates status in marketing. Even today, these programs and web sites earn more income as they assist these affiliates into profitable commissions.

It is like a give and take process, as the web sites and programs feed the minds of the affiliates about the competent marketing strategies and skills, which later is turned into revenues or their commissions. These web sites and programs likewise earn their turnovers.

Internet Marketing Trend: Segment Your List To Become A Trusted Resource... And Leave Your Competition In The Dust - Derek Gehl

As 2007 gets closer, I've been reading and researching and looking back over my previous newsletters and blog posts in search of the big picture: what are the broad Internet marketing trends and how can we profit from them?

This year I've written about social networking, blogging, mobile media, direct-to- desktop technology, podcasting, online video... and I'm starting to put things into perspective.

What does the future of Internet marketing look like? Pretty much like a teenager.

Just take a look at the nearest group of kids armed with their iPods and cell phones and laptops, and you'll see young people creating their own personal Web experience.

They're creating networks of trust made up of people, groups, and businesses that they WANT to hear from. They're eliminating what's irrelevant to them, and pulling in ONLY what they consider relevant. And they're using a whole array of tools to do this, and a full range of media.

That means that if we want to market to them, we have to become part of their trusted networks and use the same tools and media to reach them.

And that boils down to one thing: segment, segment, segment.

Increase your revenues by 781% by laser-targeting your customers' desires!

Segmenting your list to speak directly to your customers' buying habits, interests, and needs has been proven to improve email open rates by 165% and click-through rates by 147%. And conversion rates are up 355% over unpersonalized, untargeted emails.

The study, from Jupiter Research, showed that revenues for a campaign based on clickstream data (what people do on your site) improved by an amazing 781%!

These amazing results are a direct effect of the trust that comes from building a relationship with your customers.

Years of spam and telemarketing have made the public more defensive and less inclined to trust — or even read — messages from people they don't know.

The way to provide the most value is to give people what they want — and although that idea's hardly what you'd call a new Internet marketing trend, it's getting more and more important.

Until now, Web data has been big-picture only — just a collection of large numbers turned into statistics without any real analysis of individual tendencies.

But improved analytics and metrics are making it easier to collect much more specific data: where individual visitors are coming from, exactly which pages they view, and which links they click on.

That information, along with other data you collect from your sales history or analytics reports, gives you the tools to give your opt-ins what they want and keep you in their networks.

As people become even LESS patient with messages and content they don't want, precision targeting will be even more vital.

That Jupiter Research study said only a pitiful 11% of marketers use this kind of data to segment their list and target their most likely prospects!

For marketers, the Internet is moving away from being an anonymous sales portal to multiple personal networks of trusted associates and reputable businesses.

The successful marketers of tomorrow will deliver on the promise of the right message to the right audience at the right time by getting precise snapshots of visitor intent, as well as their motivations, preferences, and desires.

In the end, segmentation increases profits. And THAT'S an Internet marketing trend you need to follow! Visit http://www.marketingtips.com to learn more.

Home Based Business Internet Style - Chad Hershey

The subconscious mind is a very powerful thing. If you have a negative or lazy attitude about you, then you will have no choice but to be negative or lazy. If you mope around and complain then you will achieve nothing. If, on the other hand, you are upbeat and cheerful, then you will generally have a good day and achieve quite a lot. If you dress successfully, people will treat you better than if you dress like a bum. Sad fact I know, but it’s the truth in today’s society.

I found years ago that in a home business you need to put just as much effort into your appearance and your attitude, if not more, as you did when working in secular employment. I’ve had to learn to improve my telephone manner, my enthusiasm on the phone and, by looking at myself in a mirror while speaking, I realized why I couldn't sell anything. I needed a check up from the head up!

With a home based business, if you dress business casual, comb your hair, brush your teeth and smile you will then start to feel like a professional. It’s this feeling that will come across on the phone and the more confidence you have the faster your business will grow.

Working from home should be exciting, after all how many people can say that their daily commute consists of going from their bedroom to across the hall to their home office? Working from home on the Internet should be something you do with pride. I have always been consistent in my actions and conscientiously believe and expect the rewards for my efforts to be granted to me.

You should try and answer emails within 24 hours, minimum. The maximum time frame you would want to wait to respond is 48 hours. To accomplish this you will want to set aside time each day just to respond to emails. Some say three times a day, morning, mid afternoon, and evening is best as it ensures everyone gets a timely response.

There is immense satisfaction in seeing people answer your ads, having people respond to your flyers, having prospects ask about your products & opportunity and respond in a positive way. Having people buy your products and assisting them in starting a home business should give you a great sense that you are helping someone improve their lot in life.

Make sure you are courteous and professional. There are some times you just don’t feel like answering a question that has the answer plainly on your website or in a sales letter, or some question you feel is irrelevant or foolish. The urge to send a fiery response may be there. If you do not feel you can politely and professionally answer, take a break. Come back after you took some time to cool down. Remember, the customer who asked the question may be basing their decision to get involved with you on your answer, so you want to be as thorough and polite as possible when answering. Do not push away a customer or potential customer with a hasty emotional response.

In a home based business your chief aims are to sell your products and teach others to duplicate your success. Out of this can come strong bonds of friendship, as your team develops and your network grows. There is immense satisfaction in running a successful Home Based Business.

Smart Marketing and Good Affiliate Progarm equals Growing Residual Income - Herman Dias

Smart marketing and good affiliate programs are the two main sources that pump in the monthly check and will earn you residual income for a long time to come, Just having a good affiliate program would not help because if you don't market it to the people looking for what your selling your not going to get anywere.

Affiliate programs are a great way to make a residual income. They allow you to take part in an established system that has already been tested and built up. All that is left to do is take control and build a down line.

Combine an affiliate program with smart marketing and it equals a great way to make residual income.

Affiliate programs are often misunderstood. Originally the idea of building a down line and making a residual income off recruiting people was called a pyramid scheme. These pyramid schemes didn’t work because they relied solely on recruiting and not at all on selling. The main idea behind them, though, was a good one, so the affiliate program was created. An affiliate program is more than building a down line of people, it also is based on selling real and useful products. Affiliate programs work because a person earns money through their down line and through product sales.

Affiliate programs are also very easy to get started in and most are completely free with no costs to get started. Most programs offer a website and plenty of help and advice on how to get the business going. A person gets help from the people in their up line, too. The biggest challenge, though, is marketing. No matter how much help a person gets, they still have to master marketing on their own. Nobody can really teach someone how to be a successful marketer, they just have to learn it on their own.

Marketing involves learning how to use the tools provided by the program to get customers and sign others up for the opportunity. The affiliate program will provide a person will written ads and their own website, among other things. The website is the central hub of all the marketing efforts. The main goal should be to get people to visit the website. Once there they will be able to buy products and sign up to be an affiliate. The hard part is not getting people to buy or sign up, but to get them to the website in the first place.

A person has to take the ads and other marketing tools and place them where people will see them. One of the biggest marketing platforms are search engines. Most affiliate websites are a simple website, but with a little work a person can optimize it to make it rank high on the search engines. A good way to get started is to add a blog to the website and write entries everyday. These entries should be keyword rich and informative. Search engines like articles or blog entries and will assign the site a higher ranking if they have them. Another way to go is to place links and ads on other websites. A person should choose websites that compliment the affiliate program, but that are not in competition with it. By using these marketing methods a person should be able to get a good start in marketing.

Affiliate programs and good marketing efforts can really help to get a good start in residual income. Building an affiliate program will take some time, but they are made to produce a great residual income.

3 Secret Weapons for the High Rolling Affiliate Marketer - Donny Gamble

What does it take to become a successful Affiliate Marketer? What are the ingredients of an affiliate marketing success story? Is there a shortcut to Affiliate Marketing glory? All these questions play around in the minds of affiliate marketers who want to make it big in this business.

Although affiliate marketing is touted as one of the easiest and most effective ways to earn money online, it is not as easy as it sounds. The wise affiliate marketer plans every action and executes it the best way he can. He should also maximize the potential to earn by utilizing the right tools necessary for a successful Affiliate Marketing business. If you want to be a successful affiliate marketer, you have to treat it like a business. We have consulted some of the most successful affiliate marketers in the business and below are the top three necessary tools for a successful affiliate marketing business.

Important Tool #1: Domain Name and Web hosting

The most important and indispensable tool in Affiliate Marketing is your own website. The first step in any successful affiliate marketing business is building a good, credible and professional looking website. Your website is the jump off point of all your marketing efforts. Thus, you must first build a user-friendly website, which will appeal to your prospects and encourage them to click on the links to the products and service you are promoting and make a purchase. Therefore, you must first concentrate your efforts in building a website that will cater to what your prospects need.

The most important thing you should consider is that almost all web users go online to look for information, not necessarily to go and buy something. Above all else, make your website full of original, relevant and useful content. People will love articles that are appealing and helpful. Keep in mind that, in the internet, content is still king and good quality content will not only build your credibility, it can also help you achieve a higher search engine ranking. By posting relevant and useful articles, you establish yourself as a credible expert in the field, making you a more trustworthy endorser of the product or service you promote. Establishing a good reputation is a good step in building up a loyal consumer base.

Highly Recommended Web Hosting: Site Build It

Important Tool #2: Professional Autoresponder

A professional autoresponder is one of the lifelines of your business. Even if you go to the super cheap route on all your other tools, do not settle for a cheap, low quality autoresponder.

Yes, there are free autoresponders available online, but I guarantee you they’ll cause more headaches down the line (and lost profits) than you want.

Important Tool #3: Link Popularity

The importance of driving highly targeted traffic to your website cannot be emphasized enough. The all-important web traffic is at the top of the list of the most important entities in the internet world. Attracting people to your site should be the first step you should carry out. Do everything to achieve a high search engine ranking. Link Popularity is one of the factors that search engines use to determine search engine rankings. Therefore, to enhance your link popularity, you must launch an aggressive reciprocal link campaign.

One of the best ways to do this – at no cost at all – is by submitting articles, with your website's link at the resource box, to e-zines and free article sites. You will not only gain exposure, you will also have the opportunity to advertise for free, just include a link back to your site. The more sites you submit your articles to, the better your link popularity is. Make your articles original, relevant and useful so that more websites will pick it up and post it.

These are but three of the many tools that an affiliate marketer can use to maximize earning potential.

Book Value Lookup Tools for Online Booksellers – Which is Best? - Michael Mould

It was only about a year ago that online booksellers had but one high-tech solution to look up book values; they could subscribe to wireless lookup services to gain a competitive advantage using an Internet enabled cellular phone. Recently some creative third-party service providers figured out how to put everything into a database so that there was no reliance on an Internet connection. Now online booksellers that are just getting started in the business face deciding on which type of service is best for them to use.

There are definite advantages to both systems. An Internet connection and cell phone will assure you of having the latest and greatest information available for a specific title, but you have that cell phone connection leash to deal with. If you plan to attend a large book sale and do not have the experience to be comfortable with choosing the gems to buy, you probably want some sort of service to help you. However, if you intend to use a cell phone service you will be left in the dust by others that use a database service to look book values up at a rate of ten or more times faster than you.

The database services require a PDA (or possibly a radically enhanced cell phone) with sufficient memory to store a database of book values, usually on the order of 200MB or less. With one of these devices, you can enter an ISBN (either via a keyboard or laser scanner) and get an almost immediate display of the book's value and its sales rank. Some of the services even have other features that allow you to set threshold values for the books you are scouting so that you can wear an earphone to hear a cash register ring for the books you want to buy and some other not so cheerful tone for the firewood you want to pass on. The biggest disadvantage to the PDA and database system is convenience. Book values change dynamically and this means you must regularly update your database by downloading a new database from the service provider. There is also the issue with respect to books that do not have an ISBN because this is the means of lookup for the PDA and database system. !

This means you have to pass on all books without an ISBN, take your chances and buy some, or have an Internet lookup service too.

The cell phone lookup system, using a third-party lookup service is much slower, but if you have the Internet service on your cell phone, you can go to multitudes of other websites to look up books that do not have an ISBN.

From my perspective, if you are looking to get into online bookselling as a prime source of income or just to remain competitive and make efficient use of your scouting time, it is probably best to have both. On the other hand, if you just want to be an online bookseller for a supplemental income, or if you just want to try online bookselling without making the investment in a PDA/scanner combination, the Internet enabled cellular phone lookup service will suffice for most book scouting adventures.

The questions you really need to ask yourself as an online bookseller are:

Do I want this business to grow into a full-time source of income?

Do I have the time to spend scouting and waiting for an Internet enabled cellular phone lookup service?

Can my online bookselling business justify the expense of a PDA and possibly a scanner, as well as a database lookup service?

Do I really want to jump in with both feet and make an investment in the best tools for my online bookselling business, or should I start on a shoestring until I know whether this business is for me.

There is a lot to be said for having all the right tools for success, but you do not need to own a hospital to dress a scraped knee.

Why You Should Consider An Automated Online Business? - Jenni Tsai

The reason why you should consider an automated online business is because, an automated system can duplicate better than a human can, and duplication is the key to succeed in the mlm, network marketing and direct sales home businesses. Statistics show that the failure rate for new home based business is over 95%. Of the remaining profitable businesses, most only make enough to pay their car payments. Only a small fraction of 1% earn an annual 6-figure income.

The main reason for such a high failure rate is that most people despise selling, cold calling, prospecting, and closing sales. However, these are the necessary steps to operating a successful home business. It requires time, skill, knowledge, experience, and patience, which is what most start up business owners lack. Many businesses also fail due to lack of proper advertising. Most people are not expert advertisers. They lack knowledge of how to market a home business. If you are not an expert marketer, and you don't know how to advertise effectively, one could spend a lot of money and not getting the desired results. A good automated system can eliminates selling and marketing problems.

There are many automated systems out there to choose from, after carefully evaluated all the available automated systems, the best one I found is called the Predator Marketing System. The fully automated Predator Marketing System sorts through prospects to weed out the tire kickers, only serious buyers remain in your system. Then it does the presentation by showing an extremely powerful movie, and closes sales(without pressuring the prospects) by the professionally trained and carefully selected company sales team. So that Predator system owners don't have to do any prospecting, presentation, or closing sales. They do not have to sell or speak to each prospect personally; these are all done for them by their fully automated systems. Company sales team will do all prospect follow up, answer questions, and close sales. It is completely duplicable, and that will eliminates the fall out rate most people face in the home business industry.

And by leveraging the power of Internet technology, the Predator Marketing System includes Veretekk's Traffic Portals, the most innovative automated lead generation system created by an 8-year old internet marketing company called Inetekk.

So how are Traffic Portals different? Simple - because at the heart of it, Traffic Portals allow you to offer something of real value to a prospect. Veretekk has created 20 traffic portals to generate leads by giving away valuable offers like - free vacation, free ad submission to millions of sites, free leads, free SEO Search Engine Optimization tools, free website tracking tool, free ISP service, free webpage, etc.

This then allows for an increased level of communication between you and that prospect - setting you further and further apart from the masses of bulk email they receive. Your ability to offer more and more of these valuable services to the prospect continues to widen the gap so that eventually you develop a very strong sphere of influence. This creative marketing technique is called Reverse Marketing.

As part of the package, the Predator Marketing System also includes daily online live trainings on topics like - SEO, web traffic generation techniques, lead generation, internet marketing, HTML, traffic exchanges, reverse marketing techniques and so on. Once their members complete all the courses, they will have the ability to market anything online successfully.

Making Yourself Aware of Identity Theft and Fraud - Sam Bell III

Any form of theft is a violation to the law. It causes infringement to the right of an individual, an organization or even a group of companies. Moreover, for every infraction there is a corresponding sanction.

Majority of the general public are aware about it. However, only few can understand regarding this matter. There is a necessity for clarification because it can bring so much impact to several aspects of both the business and the group of individuals concerned.

Are you aware that there is also the so-called identity stealing and fraud that happens in the web world? With the advent of technology, where everything almost functions through computer systems, there is a lot of falsification that can happen.

Identity theft in its strictest sense refers to stealing of your personal data. These data are usually found in your typical credit card. The data will constitute your SSN number, license number, credit card and also your bank account number as well as your mother’s maiden name. In other words, if all of this necessary information will be stolen from you, they can also perform transactions using your identity.

Identity robbing and fraud indeed ruins your personal confidentiality. This is something critical because it can cause havoc in your life also. You do not even know if someone is planning against you or your property.

The worse thing is that, traditional credit cards are not used in the line anymore. Almost all the transactions already pass through the computers and even the credit cards. It is easier to steal your identity through computer access because of it being accessible to the public.

You should secure yourself at all times. Be sure that you are always ready if somebody steals your identity. It is a fact that it is quite difficult to do this, primarily because everything is out of your control.

Bear in mind that you are responsible for taking significant actions in order to prevent your identity from being taken away from you by others. Do not let them benefit from the fruits of your labor.

You should always beware of the people that are expert in terms of identity theft and fraud. They know all of the tactics and strategies in stealing your identity. Some of these people even study all the tricks that they can do so they may execute the crime clean.

Yes, identity rip-off and fraud can be both considered crime. Fraud usually happens after somebody steals your identity, because it allows him or her to manipulate your personal information with these illegal actions.

Your personal identity can be a greatest tool also for deceiving other people. This will particularly happen if the business transaction will happen computer to computer. So many people are becoming wealthy with this fraudulent act.

You should not loose hope because there are still certain actions you can take to prevent yourself from being a victim of identity theft and fraud. It will also vary depending on the place where you are.

If you are at a boarding house, do not trust your roommates too much. Make sure that you keep all your personal data properly hidden. It is not good if you will be exposing your entire personal identity to your roommates. Its smarter if you send and receive your mail at the nearest post office in your town than leave in the mailbox at your boarding house. You can also crumple and destroy all the unnecessary forms that will include your personal data immediately so that others will not have an access to this anymore.

If you are at work, you can refer to some agencies that can guarantee you for the security of your personal data. Do not forget to confirm if your personal data is held safely. Make sure that when making business transactions, avoid trusting other people especially those that ask your personal information via phone. You can verify if it concerns business matters or any legal operation.

Likewise, on your computers avoid posting too much information regarding your personal identity. Exposing yourself too much to the public is not advantageous. Do not cause a menace to your life.
